Syllabus outline

  • ransport systems fundamentals:
    Basic concepts of transport planning and system design.
  • Traffic simulation (SUMO):
    Network modelling, traffic flow simulation, and scenario analysis.
  • Transport modelling (TransCAD):
    Demand modelling, GIS-based analysis, and network evaluation.
  • Project applications:
    Development of practical projects using SUMO and TransCAD.
  • Performance analysis:
    Evaluation of transport systems and comparison of design alternatives.
